Evelina is a multidisciplinary artist blending restoration, fine art, design, and photography into a unique practice. Originally from Venezuela, she trained in Fine Art before moving to Italy, where she worked for over a decade in heritage conservation and decorative projects, including frescoes and 18th-century interiors in Venice and Milan.

Her art combines classical influences with personal reflection, exploring techniques such as oil, watercolour, acrylics, murals, plaster, and fresco.

Early in her career, Evelina participated in group exhibitions in Italy before moving to Australia, where she also exhibited in Canberra. Alongside her design work, photography became a central part of her practice, leading to a Diploma in Digital Photography and Imaging in 2023. Her recent projects explore surrealist themes, including a series inspired by the symbolism of chess. She is currently developing a new body of work addressing the invisibility experienced by women as they age.

Evelina also enjoys teaching, regularly sharing her skills through art workshops and volunteering across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
